Managed RustDesk

RustDesk on every client PC, without the setup work.

RustDesk is a great open-source remote desktop tool. Running it for a whole client base is the hard part: deploying it, pointing every PC at a server, keeping passwords safe and knowing who connected. The PC health agent does all of that for you.

What you'd normally have to do yourself

Host a server

Done for you. PCs connect through our private RustDesk server, not the public one.

Deploy to every PC

The agent installs and configures RustDesk at each PC's next check-in, and keeps it working.

Manage passwords

A separate unattended password per PC, changed every day and stored encrypted.

Find the right ID

Click Ask or Connect on the machine in the Alert Center. RustDesk opens straight to that PC.

Keep it out of the way

No desktop shortcut, and the tray icon is hidden unless you want it shown.

Know who connected

Every connection and password lookup is recorded in your audit log.

One click

From the alert to their desktop.

See a PC that needs you, click Ask, and the person at the PC clicks Accept. Nobody there? Connect without asking, if that client allows it. It works the same from your phone.

More on remote access →

A computer card in the Alert Center with the Ask button open to Connect now, an ID button, and the PC's health details

Remote access that sets itself up.

An add-on to any paid workspace, priced by the number of PCs.

Questions

Do I need my own RustDesk server?

No. PCs connect through our private RustDesk server. You install the RustDesk app on your own computer or phone once, enter two settings we show you, and you're done.

How does RustDesk get onto my clients' PCs?

The PC health agent installs it. Switch remote access on in Settings and each PC sets up RustDesk at its next check-in, pointed at our server with its own unattended password. New PCs set themselves up the same way.

How are the passwords handled?

Each PC gets its own unattended password that changes on its own every day. Passwords are stored encrypted and only shown inside your workspace, and Connect fills them in for you.

Can the person at the PC approve the connection?

Yes. Choose per client: ask first (they click Accept, and you can still get in if nobody answers), always ask, or connect straight away.

Does it work from a phone?

Yes. Install RustDesk on your iPhone, iPad or Android phone, open the Alert Center and tap Ask or Connect. The app opens straight to that PC.

Which PCs are supported?

Windows 10 and 11 PCs running the PC health agent. You can connect from Windows, Mac, Linux, iPhone, iPad and Android.

Start with your own PCs.

Remote access is an add-on to a workspace, priced by the number of PCs (from $12/month). Try the rest free for 14 days, no credit card needed.
